Woodlands Network
Our partner in Sri Lanka focusses on the development of socially acceptable forms of tourism.
Part of this program is to inform the local people about chances and risks of touristic activities.
Harry Haas, who founded the Network, and Sarojinie Ellawela, its present director,
were awarded the First Prize for socially acceptable tourism (TODO) in 1996. In 1998,
German TV televiesed a documentation.
