Ernesto Baumann Founder of Agora
Ernesto Baumann is a retired Religious Instructor in Munich.
For five years he has worked as an Associate Lecturer at the Catholic College
for Welfare Working
and Nurse Management with the aim to contribute his practical experience in
developing countries:
a job witch he does with heart and soul
His lifework was inspired in 1956 by a peace pilgrimage of the International
Catholic Peace Movement PAX CHRISTI
and 1964 by a journey to India when he delivered Munich`s greetings on the
occasion
of the Eucharistic World Congress held in Bombay.
Verena Matthes Baumann Dipl. of Social work
Verena Matthes Baumann, born and brought up in the former
German Democratic Republic,
began her social commitment for AGORA parallel to her school-leaving.
She received a College Degree as a welfare worker and has, for some years,
accopanied Ernesto Baumann´s lifework, focussing on Latin American street
children.
Natascha Koller Initiator of AGORA Austria
Until 1998 a marketing agent for medium sized companies
in Germany and Austria.
After a 2 years "Sabbatical in Latin America, Europe Israel and
Arabia, she decided to found AGORA Austria.
