School project Madras / India
Despite being a fascinating country, India also stands for cruel realities. Since 1970,
Caspar Gundipalli – at that time a student of theology together with Ernesto Baumann –
has tried to implement his theological background towards a practical method to help local children,
regardless of their religion, to build up a life worth living, especially by founding school and day-care centers.
Meanwhile, 290 boys and girls are looked after in a junior high school and 40 children, many of them orphans or physically disabled, in a boarding school.
